The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) describes the Eucharist as the source and summit of Christian life. Consumption of the Eucharist unites us more closely to Christ and each other as the Body of Christ, and the grace from this sacrament gives us the spiritual strength needed to carry out the commands of Jesus in our daily lives.

The Eucharist is offered at each weekend and weekday Mass and a communion service is offered on Tuesday mornings. Additionally, all-night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place at Blessed Seelos every first Friday after a 7PM Mass and continues until 8 AM Mass the following morning.

Our Home Visitation Ministry exists to bring communion to homebound parishioners every first Friday. Additionally, Communion can be brought to parishioners in the hospital or who otherwise are unable to attend Mass due to illness. Please call the parish office to take advantage of these opportunities to receive Communion.

Reception of First Holy Communion is part of the second grade formation in the Parish School of Religion (PSR). This sacrament of initiation usually takes place in April. Please register for PSR with Arthine Powers by calling the parish office. Adults in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) program will receive their first Holy Communion simultaneously with Baptism and Confirmation.
